The mini fridge in the room was a welcome surprise, allowing for easy storage of groceries. Breakfast featured delicious cakes, making mornings enjoyable. However, poor treatment due to confusing policies regarding visitor access diminished the experience. Additionally, the proximity to a train created noise disturbances that were hard to overlook. Staff inconsistency regarding rules further contributed to discomfort during the stay.

Charming Stay with Friendly Staff
Enjoyed my two-night stay in a cozy standard room with rustic decor and lovely fountains. The staff went above and beyond, especially during check-in and breakfast. For tech-savvy travelers, beware of limited parking signs and confirm your spot ahead of time. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Parking situation could use improvement!!! Streets nearby felt a bit sketchy at night, not ideal for late strolls!!! Train noise at night might not be suitable for light sleepers!!!

I stayed here for one night to explore the nearby museums in San Jose, and the location was perfect for that. The communal areas were really lovely, and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast options which included fresh fruit and gallo pinto. The staff was kind and quickly resolved an issue with our first room, upgrading us to a much more comfortable space. Just keep in mind that the train noise can be a bit distracting in the morning, but it quiets down at night.

The steaks at nearby Tin Jo are a culinary must, bursting with flavor that’ll have you dreaming of them long after you’ve left. Plus, the hotel's friendly staff and stellar location make you feel right at home, perfect for wandering around central San Jose!
The breakfast setup could use a little more timing finesse, and parking nearby can pinch your wallet. Also, changing rooms was a hassle. our first one was basic at best, but the upgrade to a cozy space made up for it. Next time, I'd hope for smoother sailing on the room front.

Fleur de Lys impressed me with its Victorian charm and cleanliness. The architecture felt grand. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help, making me feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and included a wide variety of options. I loved the outdoor bar area, perfect for relaxing. Location suited me well. many museums and shops were within walking distance. However, the rooms were a bit on the smaller side. The breakfast setup could be improved in terms of timing and flow, as it felt a bit chaotic at times. I also found the parking situation potentially costly as nearby options added up. Overall, this hotel has a lot of promise, but a few tweaks would enhance the experience even further.
